The C-guide is an auxiliary guiding tool that is used together with countersinks and threadformers in BioniQ fully guided surgery.
The tool uses the "sleeve-in-sleeve" principle. This means that the cylindrical part of the C-guide is inserted into the guide sleeve, which is located in the surgical template, and additionally defines the necessary offset.
The C-guide corresponds to the specific height position (offset) of the guide sleeve (H6, H8 and H10). The different height of the C-guide compensates for the offset of the guide sleeve from the level of the bone.
