  • Collagen membrane derived from porcine pericardium
  • Particularly thin
  • High tensile strength
  • 1 membrane per box
  • Available in two sizes

This completely resorbable T-Gen® collagen membrane is derived from porcine pericardium and used for both guided tissue regeneration (GTR) and guided bone regeneration (GBR). It holds the bone graft (f.e. OssaBase-HA  or PORESORB-TCP ) in place and prevents the undesired migration of soft tissues into the augmentation area. The T-Gen® pericardium membrane is completely absorbed naturally within 4 to 6 months. The barrier function lasts a full 3 to 5 months.

Its excellent adaptation to the defect and high tensile strength make handling the T-Gen® barrier membrane easy and user-friendly.

Advantages:

  • Very thin membrane
  • Easy and excellent handling
  • Haemostatic effect
  • Fast hydration
  • Easy to shape and adapt to the defect
  • Can be used dry and wet
  • No undesirable sticking together after rehydration
  • Excellent tensile strength and tear resistance
  • Useable from both sides
  • Predictable barrier function for 3 to 5 months

Indications in dental implantology, periodontology, oral and maxillofacial surgery

  • Filling of postextraction sockets and periodontal defects/pockets
  • Treatment after tooth extraction
  • Sinus lift
  • Site preparation for implant
  • Vertical augmentation
  • Horizontal augmentation
  • Dehiscence defects
  • Intraosseous defects
